- Cindy and Jack reunite!
- Jack apparently gets out of the Operating Room, but ends up in a cage like Sawyer and Kate - so clearly he doesn't escape with them.
- Cindy seems totally cool with "The Others" - is she brainwashed into their hippie cult? Was she part of it all along, before Flight 815 crashed? Was she "a mole" on the outside?
- Apparently The Others are "here to watch". Does this mean that their wacky science experiments are continuing? Or are they just all just watching our Survivors to see who proves themselves "worthy" of joining The Others' wacky cult? Or is she just literally referring to all those people there just to watch Jack, to make sure he doesn't escape?
I'm officially excited about the Lost spring season.

I'm so glad they're bringing Cindy back, cuz maybe that means eventually we'll find out more about what's happened to the kids! Dare I sense some storyline resolution?
I think with Lost's history, you could expect that because we're seeing this scene out of context you can't make the assumption that it even happens. I think this is some sort of dream sequence that Jack is having.
Someone care to remind me who Cindy is...
i agree. i need a refresher on cindy.
Cindy was the flight attendant who gave Jack extra booze on Flight 815. She was then part of the Tailers who mysteriously vanished during their trek across the Island to meet up with our Survivors. It was presumed at the time that she was "taken" by The Others, and now that looks to be pretty accurate.
If this helps jog your memory, Cindy was part of the convoy of Tailers carrying an injured Sawyer back to the main camp. As they crossed a ditch, they turned around and Cindy had vanished.
It was assumed she was taken, but she could have left of her own volition.

That moment actually made my spine tingle - I love it!
Doubtful they'd stick a 'dream sequence' in as a promo clip - would be a very cheap stunt.
Threadjack alert:
Brian, I noticed below in your extended review of I Do, you asked the following:
What “list” was Pickett talking about? If Tom had Jack, Kate, Sawyer (and Locke) surrounded during “The Hunting Party” last season, why didn’t he just kidnap them at that point? Why did Ben let himself get kidnapped? What was the Others’ plan in all this?
It seems fairly clear to me that the reason they didn't take J/K/S at that point is because they knew Locke would go back and rally an army to come after them. In choosing the more passive Hurley, they bought themselves much more time.
Okay, back to cool stewardess sighting.
Wasn't Cindy also the flight attendant who was thought to have a thing going with Gary Troup, the author of Bad Twin who also went down on Oceanic? It's been six months since I've read that book so I can't completely remember.
It's about time we see some real anger and finger-pointing. I always hate how the Losties will never ask any questions about what's going on. Hopefully Jack will start demanding answers (even if he doesn't get them at first!)
thanks dru brians getting a bit slow in this old age... ;P
Wow! Just that one clip was powerful. Jack's character has moved from being just really pissed off to being able to convey real desperation and anger. At this point he should be raving mad and he is!
Thanks again Brian for a place I can come to when I am Lost in waiting land for the next season!!
