Good to know it's got some potential, and I'll definitely check it out.

Another similarity between LOST and Fringe is the casting of an actor from the Lord of the Rings films. As a big LOTR fan, Dominic Monaghan was pretty much the main reason I watched the pilot of LOST, and got instantly hooked. John Noble played Denethor from Return of the King.

Anyway, thanks for the preview!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13498413.post-87232537682299654612008-07-21T05:12:00.000-05:002008-07-21T05:12:00.000-05:00http://youtube.com/watch?v=vpjVgF5JDq8paste the li...http://youtube.com/watch?v=vpjVgF5JDq8

paste the link above to your browser....interesting JJAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13498413.post-73308359381316843812008-07-21T05:00:00.000-05:002008-07-21T05:00:00.000-05:00Stef...I often wonder the same question regarding ...Stef...I often wonder the same question regarding JJ's involvement in LOST on an ongoing basis. From whatever I have read, C&L are and have been in the drivers' seat for some time now. But again, the question is, what role, if any, has JJ played in LOST's production/writting? My guess was that he's pretty much out after the overall story arc/basic mythology was created.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13498413.post-66975194625833436982008-07-18T22:33:00.000-05:002008-07-18T22:33:00.000-05:00I'm in!I'm in!Renee'https://www.blogger.com/profile/07811075310901081603noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13498413.post-65173382699523313252008-07-18T17:59:00.000-05:002008-07-18T17:59:00.000-05:00This definitely sounds worth checking out, conside...This definitely sounds worth checking out, considering I've loved all JJ shows so far. I even enjoyed Cloverfield!

Brian, do you have a sense of how actively involved JJ still is in Lost? It seems like Damon/Carlton are really the ones driving the story... does JJ still get directly involved, or is he more of an over-arching story guy?Stefhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10024186205791001584noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13498413.post-59172781827185558362008-07-18T08:47:00.000-05:002008-07-18T08:47:00.000-05:00could you link us to where you watched the show?could you link us to where you watched the show?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13498413.post-8161941305664692672008-07-17T08:33:00.000-05:002008-07-17T08:33:00.000-05:00JJ is successfully positioning himself as a modern...JJ is successfully positioning himself as a modern day Rod Serling. His depth expands pedistrian or even sophisticated sci-fi writting expressing deeper curiosity for the human spirit. It appears, from the looks of it, that Fringe is to be on my very short "must see TV" list this fall regardless of any comparisons one may draw to measure it against LOST.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13498413.post-29254340933317691982008-07-16T21:43:00.000-05:002008-07-16T21:43:00.000-05:00I must concur with the consensus so far, its a goo...I must concur with the consensus so far, its a good beginning, not a great one. Lotsa potential, as long as they steer clear of to much X-Files-ish-ness (can I had anymore to that word...heh). I really like the female lead. Plus a genuine Mad Scientist... "Let's Make a batch of LSD!"...hopefully it can grow into something great. Along with Joss Whedon's Dollhouse, Fox has a couple gems on its hands, hopefully they get a chance to grow, plus I believe they are both part of a new Fox initiative, with longer eps and less comercial breaks. Gotta say, theres quite a bit coming up this fall. Pushing Daisies, Chuck, Dirty Sexy Money, Generation Kill on HBO. Also the return of Battlestar Galactica and Lost next year. =)Fidel J.https://www.blogger.com/profile/05000135867796565380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13498413.post-89368958785019675622008-07-16T16:58:00.000-05:002008-07-16T16:58:00.000-05:00It actually hasn't aired yet. I was strongly reminded of the X-Files, and somehow disappointed from the first minutes (a plane in trouble? again?), but in general it was entertaining, with good SFX, and yes, I was glad to see "Pacey" again ;-)! There is definitely a great potential, I hope they manage to show that! And of course it would be nice to have a decent "filler" until LOST stikes again...

I´m looking forward to upcoming post from you, either "fringed" or not :-)!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13498413.post-74309266870240964792008-07-16T10:45:00.000-05:002008-07-16T10:45:00.000-05:00Brian...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZAu4L5_Fl84...Brian...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZAu4L5_Fl84 ['Is that a cow?']

Am I excited?!
