However, it would be well-known that Kate didn't have a kid. The question, then, is whether Aaron is truly adopted, or if Kate is pretending to be his biological mother.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13498413.post-8201428937483108892008-03-12T13:34:00.000-05:002008-03-12T13:34:00.000-05:00One thing which jumped out at me is when Juliet sa...One thing which jumped out at me is when Juliet said to Ben "now we've got everyone on the list [from the tail section]...let Goodwin come back". Now, they didn't snatch Cindy until just before the tail section survivors were reunited with the main losties - well after Goodwin was killed.

So does that mean Cindy wasn't on the list, and if so, why did we see her as a seemingly accepted member of The Others on the Hydra island last season? Or is it a writer mistake (God forbid!)?singhyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00249393839274951084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13498413.post-23675960024027472172008-03-12T03:16:00.000-05:002008-03-12T03:16:00.000-05:00I got the feeling that Widmore's look towards the ...I got the feeling that Widmore's look towards the camera at the end of that sequence could also be more of a "Did you get that?" sort of look, rather than a "is that someone watching us?".

So, whoever took it was in on it and its an act.

Just raising it as a possibility - I also dont like it as a story line, BUT I also dont think Widmore 'looks' bad enough to be Ben's arch enemy!! I don’t know that she was accepting them so much as she was being tactful in how she approached Ben. By that point she must have learned to tread carefully around him. Also, she wanted something from him, so she would not say, “Ben, we got everyone on your stupid list, now can my lover Goodwin come home?” She also mentioned Zach and Emma to Ben, to see if there was something she could do for them, and she got a response indicating that he had no empathy at all for their plight. So she backed off. Ben showing her Goodwin’s dead body and announcing “You’re mine,” was probably what pushed her over the edge into trying to get Jack to kill Ben.

I was also surprised that Widmore got his hands dirty. It’s possible that the captive was a crucial source and they got enough information from him to send out the freighter (timing might fit), and so maybe Widmore got personally involved. It also seemed odd that Ben has enough of a network to be able to capture this on surveillance but could not (it seems) intervene to save his man. And why would such footage end up taped over the Red Socks? Was Mikhail doing long distance surveillance from the Flame?

RE: Harper’s comment to Juliet: “You look just like her.” My first thought was that “her” is Annie--it would fit. But I looked back at pictures, and Annie had straight brown hair, whereas Ben’s mother had hair similar to Juliet’s—curly and blonde. Sure, there are other important issues in similarity, but the hair stands out for me. And it seems that Ben keeps that painting of his mother on his wall. So now I’m thinking that “her” is Ben’s mother.

Rutkowskiilives—great catch, about Charlotte saying that they know Ben has used gas before. How WOULD she know? We’ve speculated that maybe Dharma doesn’t know that something had gone wrong on the Island, but maybe they do—in which case, why haven’t they come to take their Island back? How would someone else know? Maybe there were survivors, or maybe Ben sent Annie off the Island before gassing everyone, and she knew what he was planning and told. I’m wondering again—what was “The Incident” that led to the initiation of the button-pushing protocol? Maybe there was a previous attempt by outsiders to take the Island, and so Dharma launched some defensive programs, including the gas manufacturing.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13498413.post-76419136378479388372008-03-11T13:57:00.000-05:002008-03-11T13:57:00.000-05:00Official D&C Podcast 1) Scripts 9 and 10 are done...Official D&C Podcast

1) Scripts 9 and 10 are done and 11 is almost done.
2) Two Hour Finale will now air in two episodes over two weeks because of Grey's Anatomy having a two-hour finale
3) Iron Man Trailer was cool

4) The Other Woman - What is the use of the Tempest? Are the hatches important?
D&C: They joke about the Arrow hatch, but confirm that they all have some importance and that the Tempest is a very important hatch on the island. This episode was their way of telling us about some of the island's history via Juliet's past on the island. To show us how the Dharma Initative was potentially gassed. Dharma was working on Biological weapons, but are not necessarily bad.

5) Is Widmore really the man behind the freighter?
D&C: Yes and this is a BIG reveal on the show. Ben knows why Widmore is trying to get to the island and we should know by the end of the season alos. They confirm Ben is lying.

6) Will we see Harper again?
D&C: Yes we will, she is an other, we did not kill her and she is still on the island.

7) Who is Ben's Man on the Boat?
D&C: We will find out this week in Ji Yeon (Episode 4x07)

8) Canon of LOST? Mobisodes, Find815, TLE, Via Domus and Orchid!?
D&C: Good question, the show is the Mothership and is indeed the main canon. Also it is tricky to keep our eyes on everything else in the LOST Universe. We give a framework to the creators but what we write is truly canon. The Mobisodes are, so is the Orchid video which will come into play later this season. Certain elements in other items such as Hanso perhaps in Bad Twin are canon and there are other little tidbits in everything else to make it fun for fans, but at the end of the day main thing to follow is the show.

9)Lost and Gilligan Island
D&C: Answer several joke type questions. Lol, Skipper borrowed Minnow from Libby and is a member of Dharma. :)

11) CS appears in Season 1, CS appears in Mobisode 13, CS appears in Episode 4x01 in Jacob's cabin, will we see more of CS in the future of LOST.
D&C: Yes, we will see him several more times and a good question to ponder of CS is how he is a part of the lives of Jack and the other Losties.

12) Will we see Smokey?
D&C: Yes we will smokey this season. They try to show us smokey at least once a season, but they have "rules".

13) Locke was my favorite character in Season 1, but his actions are getting tougher to defend. Will his actions be redeemed?
D&C: Locke is on a journey and in journeys there are periods of doubting and frustrations. It is cool to see a character struggle, but by the end of even this season Locke will have some better moments. A Man of faith might doubt and have struggles, but will emerge as even a bigger believer in faith.

14) Via Domus Ending, was it a dream or Des like time travel?
It wasn't all a dream, some moments in the game were little dreams, but the end is NOT a dream. The game is outside canon so it does not really matter and then they laugh.

15) Podcast host, Chris, really have a job?
Yes, he works at ABC, Disney channel and marketing.

16) Will be back after episode 8 Meet Kevin Johnson with another podcast, who is Kevin Johnson? We will meet him in episode 8. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13498413.post-2115813274605346832008-03-11T11:52:00.000-05:002008-03-11T11:52:00.000-05:00I'm sticking with my Walt is the man on the boat t...I'm sticking with my Walt is the man on the boat theory.

I'm am going to avoid your "pre-hash" for this weeks episode. To me, this remains a disturbing gap in this characters story-line that begs for further explanation to make it plausible/credible. For her to simply accept some "list" as gospel is entirely implausible.

As for Ben's man on the boat, the idea it could be Anthony Cooper is interesting however not gonna happen. Why? The ex-producers have made it very clear and vowed, in pod-casts, that when a character is clearly killed off (unlike Patchy originally), he is dead. NO DOUBT THAT THE 'MAN ON THE BOAT' IS MICHAEL. Somehow, Walt's lack of appearance will be explained.

Finally, "her" I suggest, is more likely to be revealed as Anne than Ben's mother.
